Good arguments: mastering the art of debate to listen and be heard

In a world where differing opinions clash every day, the ability to communicate clearly, listen attentively, and engage constructively has become a key skill for leaders and organizations. It is not only about persuading, but also about building strong relationships, fostering collaboration, and turning differences into opportunities for growth.
In this session, Bo Seo, two-time world debating champion and former coach of the Harvard debate team, will present some key ideas from his acclaimed book, Good Arguments.  He will show how the art of debate can become an essential skill for leaders and organizations, transforming disagreements into dialogue and difficult conversations into opportunities for development.

Specifically, participants will explore:

  • how to find the heart of a disagreement
  • how to make an argument in a clear and persuasive way.
